Reunion (Theme and Decor)

Our theme was
Whose Line is it Anyway?
Which was really versatile. Some tangents included movie lines (we played games where family members had to guess which movie the line came from). We also had line idioms decorating the cabin (starting line, line of authority, line of credit, line upon line, lunch line...). Our theme song was Walk the Line, and we really played up the whole family line concept. We had Sheila give a presentation on our heritage line and decorated the cabin with pictures of family members to celebrate our current line. We even had colors (orange and green) and created and used a reunion logo throughout the decor!
Take a look:

(ABOVE)This welcome poster greeted family members as they entered through the front door; Pictures or our "line" and logo decorated the walls.

(BELOW)Room assignments and reunion itineraries were posted to each door.

(ABOVE) Movies lines were posted all weekend for family members to guess their origin and win prizes; Line idioms decorated the cabin.

(BELOW) These are our favors, placed in each room they greeted family members upon arrival.

We made Had2O water bottles with the logo for each family member. other party favors included these cookie bags (with logo sticker) and a personalized DVD slideshow of all the pictures of our family from the last 5 years (it was 27 minutes). We handed out stickers of the reunion logo as well.

Very impressive, you could start your own family reunion theme business and make big money.

I love themed events. I sighed a big ol' sigh of contentment scrolling through your ideas etc. Very nicely done! Kudos!
