CHURCH BALL

I didn't know people actually went to watch these church ball games. I thought they were more or less little scrimmage practices. Au contraire mon ami. These games are intense battles of blood, gnashing of teeth, and fighting to the death! I even heard some swear words! Plus, the place was packed and it was 11 pm at a Mormon Church. Suffice it to say, I was never big on sports, but I just might convert. This was so entertaining I "lingered longer" when the late night ball bash was finished.

I guess this game was so intense because it was the stake finals. Matt and Quinn actually played against each other. Dude- if the game wasn't intense, they sure made up for it!













Quinn was the victim of me trying to figure out my new AWESOME lens so I caught these great expressions. The game is his life man!

It started out as a friendly match between brothers.






But the turn in score dampened Q's spirits and he took himself out of the game entirely.

You see, Q had gone to the gym twice that day and it really affected his shooting.

Apparently it is not wise to lift right before you play basketball.

I was pretty impressed by Matt's agile moves. This is a tricky pass to center. Smooth Matt, very smooth.
