Annie was blessed in the same church and ward that I was blessed in. Quinn gave her a fabulous blessing on Labor Day weekend {Sept. 5th, 2010} and then we invited friends and family over for a big dinner party. I splurged on a Shabby Apple dress for the event because it was the only thing I could find online [I do all my shopping online] that covered all the wrong spots in all the right places.
Annie wore my blessing dress for the event.
Plain and simple.
My Grandma Metcalf bought it for me 30 years ago.

Dinner was terrific and Annie remains the perfect poster baby!

What an adorable dark-haired baby and I love your creative post. How do you do the words and the cut-out pictures and such? I LOVE reading your blog!
We were so glad we got to come, and had such a fun time. Especially the cupcake part.
so I read your blog all the time...I don't know if you remember me. Lindsey Peacock from clogging. I found your blog off the website one day and loved reading it. It's been fun because I had my first little girl August 7so they are pretty close in age. Annie is adorable! Sounds like you are loving being a mom. I love to read all your thoughts about things since I am doing the same thing right now.
What a great day-i'm so glad we came! I love the picture of your Mom on the bottom-she is pretty amazing!
